Fee Schedule
Ekse displays the applicable fee estimate before an order is submitted. The server calculates the final fee from the effective schedule and the quantity actually executed.
This schedule is active for the six-month pilot. Trading fees apply only to executed quantity; an unfilled order has no execution fee.
| Fee | When it applies | Effective rate |
|---|---|---|
| Maker fee | A resting limit order adds liquidity and later executes. | 0% — no minimum is charged when the percentage rate is zero |
| Taker fee | An order immediately executes against existing order-book liquidity. | 0.25% of executed notional; minimum 0.01 NADD, maximum 25 NADD |
| Settlement fee | Winning contracts settle after the result becomes final. | 0% |
| Ekse deposit fee | A completed NADD deposit. | 0%; NADD Pay may disclose its own provider fee before confirmation |
| Ekse withdrawal fee | A completed NADD withdrawal. | 0%; NADD Pay may disclose its own provider fee before confirmation |
Trading-fee calculation
Gross contract cost equals executed quantity multiplied by executed price. The applicable percentage is calculated from that executed notional and, only when the rate is above zero, is constrained by the published minimum and maximum.
Example: 1,000 contracts executed as a taker at 60¢ have notional of 600.00 NADD. At 0.25%, the fee is 1.50 NADD.
Quick and Limit orders
A Quick order can execute across several genuine order-book levels. Its fee uses the quantity actually filled. A Limit order is charged only when it executes. Maker or taker treatment depends on whether the execution added or removed liquidity.
Where fees are held
Trading fees are credited to Ekse's dedicated NADD revenue ledger account, PLATFORM:FEES:NADD. Customer available and reserved balances remain separately accounted for.
A treasury sweep requires a configured corporate revenue wallet, a request and separate approval by authorised staff, idempotent NADD execution, and reconciliation.
Rounding and schedule changes
Ekse calculates money using ledger precision and rounds values only for display. A replacement fee schedule applies prospectively and never rewrites a completed transaction.
Order Ticket transparency: estimates come from genuine order-book depth and the effective server-published fee schedule. The server recalculates the final amount before accepting an order.
